Pricing: Affordable and Fair-Minded

Ghost Writer Rates: As of 2025, rates are between $49 and $84 per hour

As a Ghost Writer, Marvin charges $65 per hour for his writing services. On average, it takes about 185 (0/+ 15 hours) hours to create a book of 180 - 200 pages for a 5.5" x 8.5" size book. That is around $12,000 in total investment.

Marvin charges for pages completed on a month-by-month basis so the pricing is billed out in segments of the total figure. This makes it affordable as the investment amount is divided over several months until the book is completed.

Lastly, Marvin will get your book onto Amazon through the use of Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) software (this includes creating the cover artwork in KDP) to get the book up for sale for others to purchase. The use of Amazon's standard royalty packages is included in this process. Also, you can purchase as many author copies as you like from KDP at the "printed" price to use for book signing events, selling at speaking events, and giving to family as gifts, etc.
